Through a partnership with the North Dakota Sheriff’s and Deputies Association, and funded by the North Dakota Department of Human Services, we are pleased to announce that your agency is participating in the statewide NDTip program. tip411 will be the provider of this web-based tool that allows you to receive, and respond to, anonymous tips in real time.

We recommend that you post information to your agency website to help your citizens learn more about the NDTip program. We have created some content below that you can use to post on your agency website.
Before you begin, click the link below to find your agency’s tip411 text tip keyword.
Once you find your agency keyword, include it in the Text a Tip section of our content we have created below.
NDTip Program
Through a partnership with the North Dakota Sheriff’s and Deputies Association, and funded by the North Dakota Department of Human Services, the _________ County Sheriff’s Office is now participating in tip411 service to allow citizens to submit anonymous tips.
When you submit a tip through any of the options listed below, it is sent to a third party tip service, which acts as a privacy buffer between you and our agency in order to protect your identity and your contact information.
This service is being provided to the public for non-emergency use. Tips may not be responded to immediately. It is not meant to be used as a substitute for calling 911 in emergency situations. In the event of an emergency, you should always dial 911.

Click the icons below to download the NDTip tip411 app to your phone. To submit a tip using the app, click the “Submit a Tip” button and then select our agency.

To send an anonymous tip via text message to the ____________ County Sheriff’s Office, text the keyword _____________ and your tip to 847411.
