tip411 Tool Empowers LaGrange, GA Residents to Partner with Police in Crime Reduction

LaGrange Police Department in Georgia (96 sworn officers) has decided to partner with tip411, a powerful new crime-fighting tool, to reduce crime, close cases, and improve community engagement.

“Our mission is to target crime in our community through this partnership with tip411,” said LaGrange Police Department Chief Garrett Fiveash. “tip411 has been a great help to us and we believe the addition of this new app will allow us to have an even deeper crime-fighting partnership with our residents.”

tip411 provides a way for anonymous tipsters to have a two-way conversation with a live police officer by removing all identifying information before police see the tip.

“The LaGrange Police Department app will greatly improve the public’s access to agency alerts, social media channels, important information, and more to help fight crime,” said tip411 President Terry Halsch.  “We’ve listened to feedback from partners like the LaGrange Police Department and have built a more advanced and innovative product to help departments better engage their communities.”

The LaGrange Police Department mobile app is available to download for free from the Google Play Store and the iTunes App Store. Citizens can also submit an anonymous text tip via their cell phone by texting the keyword “LAGRANGE” and their message/tip to 847411.
