Peoria, IL Police New Cold Case Campaign Uses tip411

The Peoria Police Department has teamed up with the “Who Killed Me” campaign to raise awareness about unsolved murders in their community. They are asking citizens to use their tip411 anonymous tip program to report any information regarding these cases.

Peoria PD and Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood wanted the community to know that they were still searching for suspects in the crimes, but they want the community’s help.

“I’ve talked to people who have said does anybody care, especially with cases that are older,” Hardwood said. “I think the importance of this initiative is to keep it in the forefront in the public’s mind that yes, these names are not just names. The police department has never quit working on cases.”

To submit an anonymous tip to the Peoria Police Department, text PEORIAPD and your tip to 847411. Citizens can also submit tips using the Peoria PD mobile app, available for free on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
